Dear Ms. Maryam Alikhani,

 

I am writing the cover letter to you for expressing my personal information and goals. As the recent new transfer student of CCNY and my major is Computer Science. Although I have no idea for my future or career right now, I may learn a lot of knowledge about programming. In the past two years, I’m a student in community college, my major is Engineering Science. When I enter the four year’s university, I changed my mind as I think computer is better for my future. In the recent years, people cannot live without technology and computers, there are many big developments are from computer engineers.

 

However, I have many challenges on my major or college. I just heard from many friends, they always say Computer Science is very difficult and I need to do more and more exercises. I have to learn to notice my problems and weaknesses and to learn how to solve the problems on English. I also have to increase my skills to write or understand more English. In the short term, my goals will be to finish my college life and attend any internships. In the long term, my goals will be to increase my experience and find a pleasant job in my future.

 

In the semester, I want to meet many friends to give me guidelines of how to learn major or language in effective ways. It is clear that, I still have weaknesses, I have to become more mature and effective. In the other hand, there are many programmers in the world and they created many things to make our life become better and grew up the technology. But there are still any bugs in many programs. In the recent life, the technology or the programs become better and better. For example, the devices in Apple stores are improving constantly. From iPhone 4 to right now’s iPhone X, they have big differences and changes on appearance and system. Therefore, we live in a time of great technological advancements.
